DIRECTIONS

  • Dissolve yeast in water.
  • Stir in the milk and flour.
  • Cover. Let stand 1 hour.
  • Beat together the eggs and sugar until smooth.
  • Add to mix.
  • Stir in the salt, cardamom, rinds, raisins, almonds, milk and butter.
  • Stir in flour.
  • Knead until smooth.
  • Place in a sprayed bowl.
  • Cover. Let rise 1 hour.
  • Punch down.
  • Shape into desired shape.
  • Dust with sugar.
  • Cover. Let rise 30 minutes.
  • Heat oven 350.
  • Bake 1 hour.
