  1. I've made this before, and the cookies are really delicious. I like to make a minor adjustment to the icing though. Instead of butter, I mix light cream cheese into the confetioner's sugar for the icing. This is also really good with mint extract added to it. I made a Valentine's batch by cutting the cookies in heart shapes and adding food coloring to make pink icing. So cute!

  2. I love this recipe because it's so easy & gives you so much control. I rolled the cookies in powdered sugar before baking, & added 1/2 tsp of mint to the frosting. They turned out great! I do think you have to be careful what cake mix you use, as some are too salty.

  3. I've eaten these before they are good! :)

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
