  1. Does the yeast come in just one size? I see it says package of yeast, so I'm assuming that it the packages don't vary in sized.

  1. This was so much fun to make! I made it with all organic ingredients and used the resulting wine for my May Day punch. I added dried Sweet Woodruff and fresh strawberries and it was delightful! It's definitely a more rustic wine, not a crystal-clear table wine, but I was happy to have an organic wine with no added sulfites. No one reported a hangover from this wine!

  2. Have 1 batch on the go using 5 jugs white grape juice and 2 jugs white cranberry. Second batch using 5 jugs white cranberry and 2 jugs red cranberry...... initial taste test was good ! and the price was certainly right :-) I will post again after its aged a bit to give final taste results

  3. I found this recipe veery helpful thank you Kimke. I am going to try it with blueberries next time. Thank You again

  4. This wine is very good. I find the taste comparable to Kressman a French wine. The week before I bottled it, I strained it through a coffee filter. I cleaned the carboy and put the wine back in it. I added come clarifier and a week later I strained it again and bottled it.

  5. I did not want to rate it yet because I want to give it more time to age, but I will start with this rate. It has been 22 days. I just had to taste it. It tastes kind of like a white zinfandel. I used 2 64oz of Cranraspberry juice and the rest White grape juice. I am going to play with the recipe more with the next round. Thanks Kimke. It is fun and I did not have to go to a special wine making store to buy ingredients. Sandra

I live in Omaha NE and am an audiologist at Boys Town National Research Hospital. I love to cook, as does my husband Michael. In the summer, we have a large garden and try to use alot of fresh fruits/veggies in our cooking. We have a 5 year old daughter, Kate and almost 2 year old son Sam and enjoy introducing them to new foods. One of their favorites is fresh pesto smeared on crackers!
