  1. Simply, Easy, Fast, Inexpensive & tastes like lasagna. What's not to like? :) I had several opened packages of cheese that needed to be used. Parmesan, Cheddar, Mozzarella and a part bag of Tex-Mex cheese. Worked perfectly. Just what I needed on a day when I didn't really want to invest a lot of time or thought into supper. The bonus is that since there is only the two of us....leftovers. :) Thanks for sharing your recipe.

  2. This was fantastic! Rave reviews from the whole family; it really does taste like lasagna. I used Ragu 7 herb chunky sauce. I did sprinkle a bit more parmesan cheese on top, and baked it 5 minutes longer to brown the top a bit. My husband likes it better than lasagna. It would be so easy to double the recipe and freeze half, or double it for company. So nice to have another great recipe in my rotation!

  3. We love this recipe! I use extra lean ground beef and whole wheat penne. You can also make it meatless with 2 cups of Boca crumbles. I like to add some minced garlic, basil and oregano to the meat. It makes delicious leftovers too! Thanks for posting.

  4. We love this! So simple, quick and easy to put together and tastes great! I use traditional Prego for my sauce and only a half pound of burger (personal choice) It reheats really well for leftovers too! Thanks for sharing! :)

  5. For a recipe that's so easy to put together and looks and tastes good, I give it 5 stars. My husband and I are building a workshop, so we're tired when we come in the evening. This with a salad and garlic bread with very few dirty dishes at the end of the meal hit the spot! Thanks MeganKatherine. Toni in Colorado
