Eggless Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

"I didn't have eggs or brown sugar so I did the best I could to make cookies. They turned out delicious! A large portion of it came from the Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies recipe on EatingWell.com. The cookies will be too sticky to form a ball so I just plopped them on the sheet."

Questions & Replies

  1. I tried these cookies but they came out as the balls I put them in. Are these cookies meant to be like that or are they meant to come out flat. I want to make my cookies flat. Their taste was excellent, but I want mine flat in shape.

  1. I love the format of your recipes! Nice and clear without a lot of narrative, often difficult to find on the internet. Genius Kitchen will be the first place I look for recipes henceforth. Thank you for the good work..

  2. Great tasting cookies. I like using canola oil as a healthier alternative.

  3. This recipe is a tasty way to get an oatmeal cookie fix without using eggs. I had to add a bit more oil and some extra water in order to get the mixture to come together. Mine were not overly sticky like the creator of the recipe suggested they would be, so I was able to roll them into balls. Next time I will cut down the sugar a bit, they were pretty sweet. Also, I added some ground cloves in order to give them a nice, spice flavor.

  4. These were delicious!
