I have been eating for over 50 years but cooking for only about 30! Enjoy trying new recipes and enjoy new tastes. Love to read - enjoy reading in the car (not while I'm driving of course). Am an avid seamstress. I sew clothing and quilts and table runners and anything else that can be stitched. My daughter and I make and sell neck-coolers that we call cool-ons as a little business on the side. Enjoy gardening - am into the square foot gardening system and am loving it! My deck is my new garden.Have a great husband who canoes and builds racing paddles for canoeing. He refers to them as canoe paddles that can be used for racing. Am a department administrator for an academic department at the University of Missouri. I also restore old photographs and belong to Operation Photo Rescue. Pet peeves? People who feel entitled, those who text while driving, bureaucrats and those who always have excuses. My father's memory inspires me to try new things when it comes to cooking. I enjoy making people smile when they are please with a dish I have prepared. That's the best!!
