  1. I made this for Thanksgiving, and everyone loved it! Much easier using the canned sweet potatoes-goes together in a flash. The only suggestion I would make, is to wait to add the marshmallows the last few minutes of baking-mine burned before the rest of it was done.

  2. Inez this is a great recipe! I made this for my Thanksgiving Dinner and found that not only was it fast but extremely easy and delish...Thanks for the recipe.

  3. No canned sweet potatoes here. Not as easy but 100% better no matter what you may add. From scratch is the winner every time.

  4. This is the way I've been making my sweet potatoes for years! I usually cut the sugar down to 1/4 cup and Use large marshmallows instead of miniature (just a personal preferance) I think they turn out great with the canned potatoes and it's such a timesaver. I just cut up the butter into small pieces and sprinkle it over them, then sprinkle with sugar, top with marshmallows and toss them in the oven. It doesn't get any easier than this. Thanks!

  5. I fixed this recipe for Thanksgiving dinner. I normally use the recipe on the can, but this year's can didn't have one, so I did a search on the Zaar. Everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for the recipe.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
