Flourless Chocolate Snowball Cookies

"A wonderful, chewy chocolate cookie for those who can't eat wheat or gluten... though no one would guess that they are flourless. Guaranteed you'll fall in love with them if you like chocolate as much as I do! They are also beautiful and a unique addition to a Christmas cookie tray."

  1. These were fabulous and easy to make. I couldn't find ground almond, nor did I know if I could substitute almond flour, so I put slivered almonds into a ziplock bag and pounded them with a hammer until I had ground almond!

  2. Hi hoping to make for a healthy pot luck. Recipe calls for ground almonds is that the same as almond flour or can I use almond flour it is the only thing I have available in our remote area?

  4. I love this recipe. The flavor is great and so is the texture. I didn't want the added sugar so I substituted shredded coconut for the powdered sugar. Yum! I will definitely make this again. Such an easy and delicious recipe! Thank you!!!

  5. I just made theses, very good! I'm no expert, but I used ground almonds, and thought ground almonds is just that, ground, but not powder; they were a more smal,l crushed & courser consistency, and didn't make the cookie as dense I believe, as oppose to using the almond flour. The almond flour is a small particle powdery consistency, so I'm sure it would change the texture of the cookie entirely, but not the taste, and they still both are the same thing, almonds.
