  1. Being from the Seattle area all I can say about this recipe is "MY OH MY" this is a wonderful cake! The topping sinks while it bakes and it makes it so yummy, especially right out of the oven! Thanks Mary

  2. This was some of the best coffee cake I had! I was thinking ahead for fall and would like to try it with apples chunks.

  3. Very good "different" use for Friendship Bread starter. I had the standard recipe to use when I got my starter but somehow didn't have pudding mix in the house - and I'm glad I found this recipe!! It'll be great for work in the morning - minus one "taster" piece, of course!!

  4. This is a very easy, quick and delicious recipe. My family loved it. Will make again and may add raisins and or nuts. Thanks!!

  5. I was glad to find another use for friendship starter. The next time I make this, I will adjust the bake time because I found it to be a bit over-baked using the time stated. Perhaps 20-25 minutes in my oven will be enough...

I have been a Central Illinois resident all my life. My hobbies include fishing with my husband, reading, counted cross stitch, and of course, cooking (especially baking)! I currently work in an office, behind a desk, pushing paper. My dream would be to open my own bakery. Spending time in the kitchen is very relaxing to me, and it keeps me connected to my domestic side!
