1. It was easy to make but sorry, I totally have to agree with your previous reviewer. Homemade fudge has always been part of our Carol Festival traditions, this past year I too used this recipe over the Christmas season. Made exactly as posted using good quality chocolate with the same disappointing results, dense and grainy as well as overly sweet. Nothing like the old fashioned fudge I have been making since childhood. Used good quality chocolate - candy maybe but fudge - sorry no.

 2. I used this recipe last year for Christmas and it turned out grainy because of the large amount of sugar. The old recipe on the jar from about 8 years ago that used chocolate chips was creamy and used half the amount of sugar. Wish I could find it! I would not recommend this one.

I am 58 years old and about to retire. I have two wonderful children whom I love dearly and 9 grandchildren. I love cooking for all of them(heck I just love cooking) and when I cook it is all about the people I am cooking for. I have several of my grandmothers recipes that I use time and again just honor her. I cook like she did, nothing real fancy but filling and oh the taste is so good. I love this site because you can find some really good recipes here and the cooks are all good. I am definitely not a gourmet, too fussy for me and my husband wouldn't eat it. When I make something new I ask him if it is a keeper. He's the judge. Anyway, it's all about family with me.
