  • Put olive oil, sea salt, and garlic cloves in mortar (or an aluminum or steel mixing bowl).
  • Grab a pestle and mash the raw garlic cloves with the oil and salt until you have a pureed consistency (you should not be able to see pieces of garlic, but rather, pureed).
  • Prepare the mashed potatoes as directed in the package of the "Simply Potatoes".
  • Pour the oil concoction into the mash potatoes, along with the sour cream, until well blended and very creamy.
  • I would add fresh ground pepper, but I was only allowed to add four other ingredients (gotta have my fresh ground pepper!).
  • And, voilá! It's a very simple recipe packed with flavor!
