  1. when i use the print function in recipe i am given the nutritional chart which simply adds more paper to print. How can i prevent this

  3. Can I use zucchini and yellow squash with the asparagus

  4. This recipe sounds great. Wondering, though, why the Sodium Content is over 980 mg, when "salt and Pepper" does not have a precise measure to add? Does anyone know why? thanks much!

  1. What an easy and quick weeknight dish! We loved this light and spicy recipe (I did use a "heavy" pinch of pepper flakes). I served it over fettucine, and added a tablespoon of butter to make the sauce a little richer. Yum! We'll do this one again.

  2. Ok, so some may think I'm over-reacting here, but this was, hands down, one of the best things I have ever eaten! WOW. I followed the recipe almost exactly, except I did add some lemon zest, parsley, and parmesan at the end. I tossed it with angel hair pasta. I used a nice Pinot Grigio for the wine, and tiger shrimp. I don't know what it was, but the flavors in this were fantastic! I wish I could give this recipe 200 stars! Thanks for a recipe I will use for the rest of my life!!!

  3. okay everything looks good but this is what i am going to do first i boil my pasta in tony chachere's creole seasoning i am creole as you might know that is the good part about cooking, you can use any pasta angel hair, linguine, spaghetti, fatticne, also try sugar snap peas with mint.you might like that as well .oh well so much for that enjoy yourself i know i will good bye henry j clark

  4. Took the advice of other reviewers and added a butter/flour mixture to thicken the sauce, added lemon zest and doubled the sauce portion of the recipe. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!

  5. I've never made a wine sauce before so I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out but it was pretty good! The prep and cooking were fast and I served it over bowtie pasta. The dish was a little simple, but tasty enough that it was gone pretty quickly- the shrimp really shone in this one. I feel like the sauce was missing something though... maybe some butter or parmesan or both? Something to make it a little richer and to make it really stick to the pasta. It's very close to being a winner for me.

Tweaks

  1. I am going to try this. But I am going to up the ante a bit and put in either whole wheat noodles or small cubed tofu.

  2. It was surprisingly good. You never really know what something will taste like by other reviews because we all have different taste buds. But I must say that the family really liked this recipe. I did add flour after reading other reviews and I skipped the pepper for my daughter's sake. I used chicken stock in place of the wine and a little garlic and onion powder (don't know why lol). Very tasty :)

  3. I added vegetable broth and turned it into a soup. Yummy!

  4. A quick, easy & tasty entree! I made it with fresh-from-the-garden aspapargus but substituted lemon pepper for the pepper flakes as grandkids were here. Served over whole wheat pasta with a side salad. Thanx Chia!
