For those having trouble finding rose water and glycerin. Glycerin can be found in most hobby shops, either in the soap making section or in the frosting/bakery sections. Glycerin is used to maintain color in decorative cake frostings. Rose water can be found in ethnic food stores specializing in Middle Eastern or Island foods, Indian marketplaces and again, in specialty bakery sections of Hobby Lobby or Micheal's

I have had a difficult time locating the glycerine and an even harder time finding the rose water. I just received the glycerine from our compounding pharmacy and rubbed just that on my elbows and hands and it felt wonderful. I hope the rose water is just for scent because I don't think I'll find it.

I could almost cry writing this, I know it sounds trite to say it has changed my life but it really has. Before I began using this my feet were so dry that everytime I moved my toes I could hear and feel the skin moving and cracking. After a day at work I would take off my shoes to find that my socks would be bloodstained completely red from the number of cracks that opened up and somedays it was too painful to walk around. My GP was unsympathetic and would not prescribe anything so I spend literally thousands of pounds on lotions to help. I eventually found that the only way to try to prevent the cracking was to go to bed with my feet totally covered with vaseline and with a food baggie over each foot Ok as long as you don't need to get out of bed and it isn't warm! I discovered this and thought I would give it a try - it couldn't hurt and from the first application (all over my feet) I saw a difference my skin began to soften and for the first time in years my socks were not bloodstained at the end of the day (and they smelt nice too) If I could give more stars I would I'd give a million!
