Ingredients Nutrition

  • 10 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup dry-roasted salted mixed nuts
  • 14 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
  • 14 teaspoon ground cinnamon or 14 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place popcorn and mixed nuts in a 13 x 9 x 2 pan.
  3. In a small ssaucepan, stir together the honey, orange juice, butter, orange rind, and cinnamon until well mixed.
  4. Bring to boil over moderate heat.
  5. Drizzle the honey mixture over the popcorn/nut mixture.
  6. Using a wooden spoon, toss until well mixed.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring a couple of times.
  8. Spread popcorn mixture onto large sheet of foil.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. To store, place in tightly covered container.
