Grandmas Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

"These are the best oatmeal raisin cookies. My grandma makes these all the time and I finally got the recipe and had to post! Perfect with a cold glass of milk! If you bake them on parchment paper, you dont have to spray the baking sheet so you can save calories for more important things! :)"

I am a wife and stay at home mom of my 3 yr old and 20 month old daugters. I Never really liked to cook but my husband was tired of the same ole' same ole' that I was making for dinner. So one day I stumbled on RecipeZaar and my husband told me last night that he "loved RecipeZaar!" I love to bake all kinds of goodies but am always trying to find a good dinner recipe. My mom grew up in Slidell, LA so most of the food I ate growing up had some southern/cajun flavors. I love to "nest" as my husband calls it. Making curtains, blankets, painting my house, etc. Just making my house a home. But I also love to scrapbook and spend time with my Bunco friends.
