  • Spread pineapple in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  • Sprinkle a layer of coconut on top of the pineapple, and then a layer of dry pudding mix.
  • Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over pudding mix.
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix over pie filling.
  • Cut butter into thin slices, and arrange on top of cake mix.
  • Bake at 350º F (175 degrees C ) for one hour.
  • Cool before serving.

  4. This was great, and as stated definately needs some vanilla ice cream to round out it's richness (just the kind of dessert I love!) I had already used a little of my pineapple on pizza, so I simply added more cherries.
     
  5. This was amazing! I made it for our community group tonight, and like some of the others, left out the coconut because I don't care for it. I added chocolate chips and chopped pecans on top of the cherries, and used a dark chocolate fudge cake mix. It got rave reviews and requests for the recipe! Thanks for sharing!!! =)
