  • 12 cup molasses
  • 1 can beer
  • 1 cup liquid dish soap
  • ammonia

directions

  • Combine the molasses,beer,and dish soap in a 20 gallon hose-end sprayer.
  • Fill the balance of the jar with household ammonia.
  • Overspray your yard once a month and you'll have the greenest yard around.

  1. That is a great organic all in one mixture. The beer provides the YEAST, dish soap is the INSECTICIDE, ammonia is the FUNGICIDE, and molasses is the FERTILIZER! If necessary, you could substitute a packet of yeast for the beer and baking soda (or any base) to raise the pH for the fungicide. And if you really want to give your plants a boost... use molasses, alaskan fish fertilizer, bone meal, blood meal, seaweed juice, and plant super hormone!!!!! You will not believe it.
     
  2. I know the ammonia works for a fact. Where I worked before we had a machine that made large engineer drawings, it took ammonia in it. This was STRONG, STRONG, double strong, can't say that enough. It would take your head off when you opened the bottle. After they ran it through the copier they would discard the old, (some place recycled it. We were told it would green up the yard if applied with a sprayer, but to dilute it. We tried it and it worked great.

Hello everyone,I was introduced to this site by my friend Peppermintkitty....I love the site so far..... Let's seeeee, I live in a rural Oklahoma town (in the middle of nowhere! haha) I'm married and have 3 beautiful daughters,ages 12,11 & 8.....I'm a nurse in a nursing home and love to collect recipes..although I find it hard to find the time to cook like I used to, but I must say I can cook pretty good! or at least my hubby doesn't complain! :) We have 2 dogs, a yellow lab,Prince, and a female Shi-tzu,Lexie..Lots of cats and 4 horses,Honey,Jewelz,Guardian and Angel.They are my babies!! I stay really busy with work,kids and hubby! But am hoping I can meet lots of new people on here....
