  1. I love anything with Green Tea and these were no exception! I used Vanilla Soy Milk in place of the Milk and added about 1/8 cup of King Arthur Micro Mini Chocolate Chips. Next time, I will up the chocolate chips to 1/4 cup and add another 1/2 teaspoon of matcha green tea powder too -- mahalo for posting!

  2. I had to submit a correction because although 2 eggs were listed in the ingredients, they were not previously included in the instructions. Because of this, I ended up adding the eggs last, which probably affected the outcome. However, my kids liked them and gobbled them up. I think they were a bit too sweet. I will make some changes on my next try.

  3. These are very nice tasting muffins. I use half all-purpose flour and half whole wheat pastry flour so they needed a little baking powder in my opinion. We have had some Macha tea sitting in our cupboard for a long time so it was a good way to use it and a nice way to get the healthy benefits, as I don't care for the taste of the tea itself. Thanks, Carole in Orlando

I'm a 28 years old wife who lives in the Bay Area with my hubby. I do not work. In my spare time I like to sample recipes from recipezaar. I also enjoy baking some sweets once in a while but normally my hubby and I can't finish everything I bake. We hope to have children soon so that there will be people around the house to eat everything I cook. I like to cook Chinese or Asian food as I am Chinese and I find it's easier for me to find the needed ingredients from home without buying a lot of groceries to prepare for one dish. My passion is eating. Sounds odd? hehehe....my friends also share the same passion. My friend was criticized for considering eating as her passsion. She was told that eating is not considered a passion, it's considered a necessity and it's something you just have to do. What do you think? We eat out whenever we feel bored of our own cooking. That's why I gained weight over the past year. I go to the gym 3 times a week(sometimes not even twice a week).
