  • heat butter, brown sugar,garlic,lemon juice, pepper and soy in saucepan, warm over medium heat.
  • Cool and add cod pieces. Marinade in refrigerator about 1-2 hours.
  • Lighly oil heated grill grates and brush fish filets with brown sugar sauce.
  • Cook for 5 minutes per side, and at the same time baste with sauce, continue cooking untill fish flakes easily.
  • Do not overcook.

  1. This recipe was tasty, but I have to say that I think it needs to marinate much longer than 3 hours. MODIFICATIONS: I used half cayenne and half black pepper. Instead of a saucepan, I heated up the mixture in the micro.
     
  2. This is a delicious recipe for grilled cod. The recipe was reduced to 2 servings and my vacuum marinade canister used cutting the marinade time to 30 minutes. This was served with recipe #362047 and recipe #236734. Made for *ZWT 5*
     
  3. Marinated for 24 hours then smoked in pellet grill to 150F internal temperature. Very good, will make again.
     
  4. This is a great recipe. The result was delicious and I wouldn't change a thing. I paired with whipped sweet potatoes and a green salad.

  5. Omg!!! This was so delicious! I used frozen cod fillets that i got at Sam’s and they were great! Thawed them first. My husband loved them too! I will definately make this again. Thank you so much for the recipe!!
