Grilled Flank Steak

"This produces a very tender juicy steak. A baked potato is a nice side. Marinate for at least 4 hours."

  1. This was a wonderful marinade for our flank steak tonight- very flavorful and made with ingredients I always have on hand in the pantry. With the flank steak I served potato salad, Merlot's marinated cole slaw and corn on the cob for a very yummy start-of-summer dinner. Thanks for posting this, MizzNezz- I'll be using it again!

  2. Sorry to only give this 3 stars but I followed this recipe and marinated the meat for 8 hours. The aroma while it was cooking was great. We had to add salt. My sons used A1 sauce to enhance the flavor. It was OK but not a strong enough marinade for our tastes. Thanks for posting.

  3. I was looking for a flank steak recipe and though I normally tend to try recipes that have had good reviews in the past, I decided to take a chance on this one, even though it had not been reviewed. Not only was this an incredible steak but I had about six people at our party ask for the recipe. One guest wouldn't stop until I went online and emailed it to her during the party. It was the only thing at our appetizer party that was completely devoured! I hope more people try this recipe because it truly was great. I marinated it for 24 hours. Thanks MizzNezz!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
