Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 12 lbs asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons oil (divided)
  • 3 tablespoons toasted nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds) or 3 tablespoons sesame seeds (pecans, walnuts, almonds)
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Toss trimmed asparagus with 1 tablespoon oil and grill until tender, turning occasionally - about 10 minutes. Remove asparagus from grill.
  3. Heat remaining oil in a heavy skillet, add nuts, lemon juice and grilled asparagus. Toss to coat and cook for about 1 minute, until heated through. Serve immediately.
