Grilled Turkey Burgers With Couscous
"From a community cookbook. Don't want to lose this recipe. I just bought ground turkey and this sounds different with the raw cous cous mixed in with onion, Dijon, soy sauce, lemon juice, tomato paste, apple juice, white pepper, garlic, red pepper sauce and egg white. Who thought of that?"

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1⁄2 cup couscous, uncooked
- 3 tablespoons onions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard, no salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon apple juice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 dash red pepper sauce
- 1 egg white
directions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Form into patties.
- Cook on grill until cooked through.

After all these years I'm trying to get all my index cards and clippings, that still sound interesting to me, posted here so that I can find them and eventually make them! <br /> <br />I've posted some of my Mom's recipes. I regret not having paid more attention to my Grandmothers' cooking. They made some dishes that I miss and there were/are no recipes for them. <br /> <br />I have a wonderful DH and 2 wonderful sons.
