  • Melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add onion, red pepper and garlic.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until onion is softened.
  • Stir in flour; continue cooking 1 minute.
  • Add broth and whipping cream.
  • Continue cooking, stirring with wire whisk, until mixture is thickened.
  • Stir in cheese, seasoning, yogurt, spinach and hot pepper sauce until spinach wilts and mixture is heated through.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm with crackers, bread slices or assorted vegetable sticks.

  1. Big hit. Made it for Halloween last year and then Christmas too. Made a double batch and added extra cheese. Baked it in the oven after prepping in the pan. Thank you.
     
  2. This was fabulous! We had a party on the weekend and everyone was raving about this dip. I served it with pita wedges. I really liked it because it was so quick and easy to make. Plus it made the house smell wonderful while it was cooking!
     
  3. I had a halloween party and I used this recipe and in less than half hour it was gone and everyone asked me for recipe and this is so easy to make and yeah i add all the incredent's at same time and some Indian spices too. Thank You Roopali
     
  4. Odd ingredient combination, but very good. Takes some time to prepare so make a double recipe; only 6 guests and we ran out within an hour.
