  1. This tasted deliciously German! This goes great with a side dish that can sop up the sauce such as mashed potatoes, rice, or spaetzle. Thanks, kellychris! Made for Unrulies Under the Influence, ZWT6.

  2. This is an amazing dish! I was panicing because I went from store to store around my little, country town and could not find hazlenuts anywhere! I ended up substituting almonds and boy were they good. My husband ate until he popped! This will be a must make recipe in our house from now on! Made for ZWT6

  3. Nice change of pace for ham. I had some leftover ham that I sliced up for this. I also liked how easy it was. Thanks kellychis for sharing. Made by an Unruly Under the Influence for ZWT6 Zingo.

  4. Hi Kelly, this is a very good recipe. I have never made any thing like this before and I am surprised just how much I liked it. I used panko also, and it was so nutty and crunchy. I poured some of the cream sauce over the top. So so nice I will be making this again often the meat was so soft and moist, very, very, nice. Thank you for posting. Made for ZWT#6 2010.

  5. These were good, rich, and relatively easy! I pulse the hazelnuts to smear, and used 2 huge ham steaks, drizzling the cream/stock mixture over nut crust. After 15 minutes, I sprinkled with panko crumbs and after 8 minutes, mine were done. The flavor was unusual, but that's OK by us. I think I'll be making these again, as they are a nice change of pace, from our normal 'ham steak' fare. Thanks for sharing, kellychris. Made for ZWT.
