  • Saute meat and onions until no longer pink and onions are translucent.
  • Add all other ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Ladle into bowls, serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
  • Can top with: cheddar cheese, sliced scallions, sour cream, etc.
  • Good on a cold wintry day!

Live in Arizona, a transplant from Pennsylvania. I work in the superintendent's office at our local school district. Getting ready to retire soon. Looking forward to many hours of researching new recipes, organizing all my "loose" recipes into one easy system. Can't wait. I am an avid reader and have a walking partner who tries to keep me active by walking 3.2 miles daily. Love to travel and see new things. Upon retirement, plan to do a lot of that. Our first trip will be a Mediteranean cruise. Can't wait to sample all that great, healthy food!
