  • Thaw meatballs for a few hours in the refrigerator.Drain pineapple juice and sit to the side. Melt all of the ingredients other than the meatballs and pineapple juice in a pot on the stove. Put meatballs in crockpot and turn of med heat. Pour melted combination over the meatballs cook for 2 hours If there is not enough sauce add more ketchup and/or pineapple juice.

  1. This was easy to put together. I served it over rice. It certainly didn't take two hours to cook the meatballs. I got my rice started and then threw the meatballs and sauce together and let them both simmer on the stovetop until we were ready to heat (a half hour or so). I found the flavor to just be okay, but sweet and sour isn't really a favorite of mine. Hubby and little guy seemed to enjoy.
