I made this recipe for AUS/NZ Swap. We weren't crazy about this dish, but it also wasn't bad. So, we chose 3 stars which in our terms mean "We liked it." I think for me, the canned green beans and waxed beans lent a funny taste, and for DH, the sweetness was overwhelming. I think it's a great economical dish, and as the name says, definitely hearty! But, next time, I'd use fresh green beans and wax beans, or maybe frozen, and use brown sugar OR honey, not both. Thank you for sharing!
