  • Heat oven to 350.
  • In a 3 quart saucepan melt 1/4 cup butter. Stir in 3/4 cup dry stuffing Mix well & press onto bottom & up the sides of a greased 9″ pie pan. Set aside.
  • In the same saucepan stir together all filling ingredients; spoon over crust. Bake at 350 for for 50-55 minutes or till heated through.
  • Let stand out of oven for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile in 2 quart saucepan, melt 1/3 cup butter. Mix together cornstarch and water before adding to the melted butter.
  • Stir in remaining sauce ingredients EXCEPT tomatoes.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally till mixture comes to a full boil (5-7 minutes). Add well drained & seeded tomatoes; simmer for 1 minute. To serve cut pie in wedges an then poor sauce over wedges.
