  • 2 12 cups warm water
  • 4 12 teaspoons yeast
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 34 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 12 teaspoons salt
  • 8 cups flour

directions

  • Mix the water, yeast and sugar real well, set aside for 15 minutes.
  • In a different bowl, mix the eggs, oil and salt. add the yeast mixture to flour and the egg mixture. knead for 10 minutes, place dough in a greased bowl let rest to double then punch down and work out into rolls and let raise about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.

  1. Good egg bread recipe. I made a half recipe and that was plenty for my gang of four. Nice for cloverleaf rolls, too. And yummy with a little chicken salad on them!
