Homemade Mushroom Soup for Two

"A lovely creamy-mushroomy soup for two. A dash of dry sherry or truffle oil maybe added. Should you like additional mushrooms and a thicker consistency, those may be added. Don't rinse your mushrooms, just wipe them with a damp cloth. With great reviews from: http://blog.seasonwithspice.com/2011/12/cream-of-mushroom-soup-recipe.html."

  1. Yummy...Yummy...Yummy! Made this for 2013 Zaar Cookbook tag game and this is another wonderful recipe from Gailanng. I did add some minced onion and celery with the garlic while it was sauteeing but otherwise followed the instructions. Definately a keeper and going into my Favorites of 2013.

I'm just me, mother, grandmother...friend to many and a Louisianian. My Cajun and French Quarter Italian descent afforded me exposure to some of the best of foods. My passions are my family, decorating, cooking and gardening. Those very passions push me into constant awareness with always looking for something new to delight the senses, thus my favorite idiom...Inspire me, puuuullllllleeeeeeease! ...and I mean it, too.
