  • Mix together and let stand in warm area for 30 minutes. (I put it in the oven with light on, right beneath the light.
  • Refrigerate until ready to use.

  1. Tried this recipe today. Made by the directions. It doesn't look like sour cream and it is thinner. It does taste sort of like sour cream. When I used it in my recipe I couldn't tell the difference. Yes if I'm in a bind I will use this again.Thanks for posting.
     
  2. This is great stuff when you have a recipe that needs sour cream and you realize you don't have any on hand! (cheaper too) It is not a stand-alone recipe for sour cream to use in a dip or such, but works just fine for a heated, cooked recipe. Thanks for sharing Pinkie!! : )
