  1. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I really enjoyed this and my husband did as well. Very good and easy. I used 3 teaspoons of Italian seasoning instead of the individual seasonings. I too added Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms. Works well with home canned tomatoes. Needed some salt at the end so I added 1 teaspoon garlic salt. Turned out great. Will use this again.

  2. This was a fast easy sauce to put together. After making as recipe called for, I did add 2 more cans of tomatoes, and put all 4 cans through a processor. I also upped the oregano to 2 teaspoons and added about a teaspoon of garlic powder. I added a few shakes of worcestshire sauce and a few shakes of hot sauce and it was perfect. I made it for a casserole and it was great! Thanks!

  5. I really enjoyed this recipie. I threw it into goulash in a pinch and my parents loved it. It's a nice recipie to have around because most everything you have in your pantry. I suggest trying it and adding your own twists to it. I added more garlic, & i didn't use the green pepper. It has great flavor & is just really easy. Thanks!!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
