Honey BBQ Grilled Salmon

"My son insisted on me posting this recipe. We found it on the back of a bottle of ketchup we got when we were traveling up in Canada last summer. Both of my kids love eating salmon cooked this way."

  1. We grilled and made this as described. It was good, the kids ate it and there was plenty of sauce for what was basically 6 servings of salmon instead of the 4 in the recipe.

  2. Loved, loved this recipe even my 3 and 1 yr old loved it. Used frozen and gonna try fresh next week. Please thank your son for insisting on posting this.

  3. This was so delicious! Started raining so I cooked it on the George Foreman. We just loved it & know it will be so much tastier on the grill.

  4. This was a nice change to our usual salmon recipe. There was a lot of sauce so I probably could've halved the recipe and still been good. Thanks for something new to try.

  5. I wish I could give this more stars!! I've used this recipe for quite some time now and continue to get rave reviews. It's wonderful for everyday or for company. Even my kids (2 and 5) eat this up and ask for more. Thanks for posting!!!

I live on the beautiful Central Coast of California. I am a 46 year old single mom and student (I got my AA degree in business management May 05). I used to love to cook and try new recipes that is until my kids got to the point of...YUCK! I'm not eating that! Thank goodness they are growing up and willing to try new things now, so I am once again trying out new recipes. I love to collect recipes and Recipezaar has made it so easy and paper free!!! (*cringes* and thinks of the drawers full little pieces of paper with recipes on them) My favorite cookbook is my mom's old (1930's) Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook. Followed closely by the "______ the Beautiful" series, of which California the Beautiful (of course) is tops on that list.
