Honey Bun Cake

ingredients
- 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box yellow cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 3⁄4 cup oil
- 8 -10 ounces sour cream
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 1⁄2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
directions
- Mix cake mix, eggs, 3/4 cup oil and sour cream with mixer until smooth.
- Pour 1/2 into 9x13 pan.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle mixture on top and swirl.
- Pour remaining batter on top.
- Cook @ 350 for 40 minutes.
- Mix the confection sugar, milk and vanilla.
- Pour over cake while hot.

I had high hopes for this cake, but we were all a little disappointed. I think I might make it again but with some adjustments. The cinnamon in the middle was a bit strong, I would cut it to 1 1/2 T. I also would use less milk for the glaze cause it all didn't soak in. It was good but not great and it really didn't taste like a honey bun to me.
