  • Cream butter and sugar, then add honey.
  • Add egg and vanilla.
  • Add dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 375F 10 minutes.

  1. I did not follow this recipe to the letter so one may decide to disregard this review. I only added two TB of brown sugar, just enough to get the flavor in there. The remaining amount I substituted for additional honey. I probably added more than a tsp of vanilla. I used mini semi-sweet chocolate chips. These turned out to be a dense and slightly chewy cookie when cooled. They were very good, but definitely not up to the standards of a regular chocolate chip cookie. I will definitely make these again with the changes I made. I am attempting to use less granulated sugar in my baking. I may try with a bit of almond extract at some point in the future.
     
  2. Yikes! They're edible but not good at all. The dough was far too dry so I added an extra egg for moisture. Cookie ended up having the texture of bread. Upset that I used good ingredients on this recipe.
