Honey Fruit Smoothie

"Smoothies are a great way to get your daily servings of fruit, vegetables and dairy. I have one of these every day with breakfast and as dessert. Mixing up which types of fruit you use ensures a great variety of flavors as well as your full range of vitamins, so these things never get old!"

  1. Yum! Thoroughly enjoyed the tang of the plain yogurt set against the sweetness of the honey. This tasty smoothie was made using a mix of pomegranate/blueberries and using plain nonfat Greek yogurt. Note to self-think the flavored yogurt option would be too sweet. Thanks for the post.

  2. SO. GOOD.

  3. Delicious! Perfect breakfast on the go! Maybe a very little bit less honey would be better, but it's perfectly fine also with the full amount. Thank you!

  4. OMG so good it took a little longer because did not have a blender but overall so delicious. And my uncle-in-law and I did this 10 out of 10 would recommend for sore throats.

I've been a vegetarian since my mid-teens, although I didn't get into cooking until I went to college and faced the struggle of staying healthy on campus. I love Asian dishes and trying new things with tofu and other vegetarian staples. I don't bake often, but when I do, I bake vegan, because vegan pastries are soooo moist and delicious!
