  1. Again, Charlotte, this recipe was fabulous!! I think this has to be the best grilled chicken recipe I have ever had! The honey, garlic, cilantro, lime...oh, it is just a winning combination! I used 3 cloves of garlic, but that's the only thing I changed in the recipe. FRESH lime juice is a MUST, not the bottled stuff. This was well-recieved by my entire family, even my picky cousins!! Keeper, for sure!! Thank you!! ~Manda

  2. Charlotte, We absolutely loved this chicken! It was so flavorful and moist! I prepared the recipe exactly as directed except I couldn't find any fresh cilantro in the store this morning so I had to use dried and it worked out just fine. I wasn't sure exactly what time we were going to eat so I marinated the chicken in the refridgerator for what ended up to be one hour. Excellent meal! So easy to prepare. Thank you for posting, Charlotte!

  3. this was a pleasant change from the same old chicken recipes that my mom always makes. :) we had this with a nice big salad and fresh corn on the cob. the flavor was excellent, a little sweet and a little spicy. everybody liked it, it will definately be made again.

  4. Bodacious!!The marinade was so yummy. The garlic/cilantro/honey and lime mix was perfect. I did not make any changes or additions. The chicken turned out tender and juicy. My family thought it was a 5-star winner. Superb and also very easy to make. Thanks ;)

Tweaks

  1. Tender, juicy, flavorful. I used parsley in place of the cilantro. I love cilantro but DH won`t eat it. I did marinade for 2 hours in the refrigerator. made for ZWT 6 Thanks

  2. This was very good. I omitted the cilantro and used dried tarragon instead. The chicken was very moist and flavorful. Thanks for the recipe!

  3. This was a really nice combination of flavors. I used lemon juice in place of the lime juice, and frozen, chopped cilantro instead of fresh. As I was only cooking for myself and my 4-year old, I only used 2 chicken breasts, and marinated for about 3 hours. I will definitely make this again! Thanks for a great recipe!

  4. I was in the mood for garlic and chicken and this hit the spot. Everybody loved it, including my extremely finicky daughter. I like to make the recipe for the first time the way it is presented, but couldn't due to a lack of honey and lime juice. So, I substituted corn syrup for the honey and fresh lemon juice for the lime. The only complaint (from my husband) was that there wasn't enough sauce (I sauteed the chicken in a pan) to go around so I will quadruple the marinade next time. Wonderful recipe!

  5. Excellent recipe - very quick. I love the honey, the chicken grilled perfectly. Our chicken was so tender you would think it marinated all night. I didn't have any cilantro on hand, so I used fresh parsley instead. Can't wait to try this again with cilantro. Thank you.
