Reviews

  1. The recipe is really good, but the original poster may want to clear up one part. The ingredient list says 1/2 CUP butter but the narrative says 1/2 STICK. Those aren't the same thing. 1/2 cup is a full stick, 1/4 cup is a half stick. I used 3 tablespoons and it was a little light on butter so next time I'll probably use 1/4 cup (1/2 stick). Good recipe, just could be more clear, though it sounds like everyone just uses what sounds right to them, which is fine!

  2. I just made this. It was delicious! I added broccoli too! I did instead use 4 cloves of garlic and used 1/4 cup of butter.

  3. Garbage. In the ingredients it says 1/2 a cup of butter but the directions say half a stick (which is a 1/4 cup). The garlic scorched and I had to add a bunch of herbs and garlic powder just to make it edible for the family.

  4. Good way to use garlic and olive oil for numerous recipes. Blend lots of both and split between noodles and Caesar salad for instance. Can’t go wrong with egg noodles

  5. I have always loved garlic buttered noodles, and serve it often. Tonight, I will serve it with ranch meat loaf, and brussel sprouts as the veggie.

Tweaks

  1. I used garlic powder instead of the crushed garlic and omitted the olive oil. Everyone loved this. Dh thought they were amazing. Thanks so much for the great side dish.

  2. These were good and easy to make. I followed the recipe other then I didn't use the olive oil as I used garlic powder instead of garlic gloves. Nice tasty side dish.

  3. I was looking for something easy for dinner tonight & this fit the bill. Only used 2 garlic cloves, and used margarine instead of butter. Burned the garlic the first time, but lucky for me I had not put the butter in or the noodles, so no biggie. So good! Thanks for sharing.
