  1. I really liked this but my family did not. I took the suggestions of others and added a dollup of sour cream. It was very creamy. I did this in my vitamix 3600 that I just got.

  2. Perfect combination of ingredients. I used freshly cooked beans instead of the canned ones for a very fresh flavor. With fresh garbanzo beans this hummus turns out as good as the hummus served at our favorite mediterranean restaurant. Oh, by the way, I added a little more lemon than what this called for because I like it extra tangy. And please, if you are making this recipe, do yourself a favor and consider the garlic mandatory.

  3. This is a really good hummus recipe. It's easy and has fabulous flavour. I used 3 garlic cloves and also added a tablespoon of light sour cream. Excellent taste and texture - great over kebabs or souvlaki. Definitely will make this recipe a lot. Thanks lisa25.

  4. MMmmmm this recipe is wonderful. It is fast and easy too, as long as you have a good food processor. Hummus is the perfect lunch for vegitarians as it is a whole protein when eaten with whole wheat pitas. Sometimes I add a couple tablespoons of sour cream for a creamier texture.
