ingredients
- 1 3⁄4 cups cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 cup onion (chopped)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
directions
- Mix dry ingredients, add onion.& 1 cup boiling water, egg & mix well. Add as much water from 2nd cup as needed to make a smooth consistancy. Drop by spoon in hot oil and fry until golden.
