Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup swiss cheese, finely shredded
  • 12 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 18 teaspoon pepper
  • 14 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 12 cup baking mix, such as Bisquick (reduced fat mix works fine)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease a pie pan.
  3. Put cooked bacon on bottom of the pan.
  4. Add cheese.
  5. Add onion.
  6. In a blender, combine milk, eggs, pepper, salt, and baking mix; blend on high one minute.
  7. Pour into dish.
  8. Garnish with chives, etc., if you like.
