“I usually make my own graham cracker pie crust for chocolate cream pies like Chocolate Cream Pie. The recipe I use is buttery and sweet. Some friends and their kids visited town and I wanted to make a couple of chocolate pies but I was really short on time so I went to the local Dollar store and bought already made graham cracker crusts. I tasted one and it was lame so I doctored it up like this and got all thumbs up.”

Directions

  1. Brush the butter on the sides and bottom of the inside of the crust.
  2. Dust the inside of the crust with the sugar being careful not to crack the crust or cause it to slide out of the foil tin.
  3. Bake the crust according to the label instructions (usually 9 minutes at 350).
  4. Allow to cool and add filling.
