  1. Wow! I fried the wontons just because I was Leary of baking them. Now that I know these are "spot on" per DH I will try baking next time. Delicious and sure to save on our weekly trip to Carinos just for my fix. Just think! We can explore new restaurants in town. Woohoo!

  2. Love this recipe. I made it for our Super Bowl snack and used Recipe #52892 for the sauce. I did bake the wontons and turned out they needed to be baked longer but just a minute, two was too much on the first batch.

  3. We have never had Italian Nachos before, so we can't compare them to any restaurant. But, everyone in our family really enjoyed them. I did make a few slight changes. We have both vegetarians and meat eaters in our house. So for the Italian sausage I used a vegetarian version of it that we all like. I used the Italian seasoning option and left off the optional pepper flakes. I also used a light Alfredo sauce. I would suggest that you keep an eye on the wonton wrappers while they are cooking, luckily I checked on mine. They were perfectly browned at 4 1/2 minutes. These made a yummy, quick and easy meal.

  4. While looking for a great Alfredo sauce recipe, I came across this one, and it brought back a lot of memories. Me and my wife loved these from Johnny carino's. Probably one of our favs. This recipe is pretty close to the way that they are actually made but not all the way. Baking the wontons may be healthier, but frying them will achieve the same taste that u are looking for. Unless u go there and order the nachos and add onions... Then 86 them, they do not belong. Dice toms, blk olives, sliced pepper rings, and slice jalape

  5. These were really good. I must say though not quite anything like JC's. I'm not sure what I did wrong with the chips but I had to make them twice because the first batch burned.
