Directions

  1. Cream butter and 1 cup sugar.
  2. Add egg yolks and mix well.
  3. Sift flour and add to first mixture.
  4. Using your hand spread this mixture onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Brush with 2 unbeaten egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle sliced almonds and 1/2 cup sugar on top.
  7. Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour.
  8. Cut into 1" x 2" pieces while still warm- DELICIOUS!
