- 1 lb ground beef
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon basil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1.5 (19 ounce) cans tomatoes
- 1 (5 ounce) can tomato paste
- 9 -10 lasagna noodles
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms
- 2 1⁄2 cups cottage cheese (beat with eggs)
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded
directions
- Brown meat and spoon off fat.
- Add next 6 ingredients and mushrooms. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook noodles.
- While noodles and sauce simmer, combine cottage cheese, eggs, parsley and pepper.
- Place in layers. Meat sauce first, then noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese mixture, and parmesean. Cover with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 375F for 35 minutes, uncovered.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
