  1. In a slow cooker, layer the drained kraut with sliced cabbage, onion and apples.
  2. Sprinkle each layer with caraway seeds and sugars.
  3. Pour bacon drippings over the top.
  4. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours (on high for 3 hours).
  5. Stir well before serving with roast pork and potatoes.
