  1. Nice side dish and a good way to enjoy fresh carrots. I think next time I may try using parsley in place of the basil. Just enough for the two of us. Thanks Inez.

  2. Love making these for my family! I always use a full bag of baby carrots and just cut them into smaller discs. I keep the amounts the same initially and then add more lemon juice and salt to taste depending on how the carrots are. Great dish! Very simple and goes great with everything. Thanks so much for this!

  3. Very easy and very tasty. A nice change from plain buttered carrots. The basil is quite good in this dish.

  5. I used a pound of carrots with the same amounts, and they were great. Just a little something different.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
