- Mix together butter and sugar until well blended.
- Add eggs (one-at-a-time), vanilla, flour and baking powder.
- Put 3/4's of the batter into a greased 13" x 9" pan.
- Top with 1/3 of the filling.
- Add remaining batter.
- Then rest of filling.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
