  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 4 cups carbonated lemon-lime beverage (such as 7-up)
  • 13 cup orange marmalade
  • 3 tablespoons carbonated lemon-lime beverage (reserved from hot carrot liquid)
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh chives (to garnish)

  • Boil carrots in soda in a saucepan over medium-high heat until tender - 10-15 minutes. Transfer carrots to a serving platter and reserve 3 tablespoons of the hot soda.
  • Whisk marmalade, reserved soda, salt and pepper together in a bowl until blended. Drizzle over carrots and garnish with chives.

  2. These carrots are addictive! The orange marmalade added a kick to the lemon lime flavor and with the sweet carrots was a great addition. Even if you dont care for carrots give these a try! Made and reviewed for Susie D's World Tour.
     
  3. These carrots had a wonderful sweet flavor. We bought three colors of carrots at the farmers market. I loved the look and taste. To really tell how much the 7up affected the carrots I would have to cook them without the 7up and compare.
