ingredients
- 60 ml red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning, Lindas Cajun Spice Mix
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- sea salt and black pepper
- 175 ml olive oil
directions
- Combine all the ingredients except the oil in a small bowl.
- Gradually whisk in the oil until the mixture thickens.
- It will keep in a covered jar in the fridge for up to ten days.

Great dressing for our kale and veggie salad. Served with a Cajun fish sandwich. So good. -

Wonderful dressing on a simple tossed salad using the packaged greens, cherry tomatoes and some grapes. I was out of olive oil so used corn oil and used packaged cajun seasoning. Thanks for sharing! -
DD (toddler) and I had this on a vegetable and fruit salad. 1 salad. It went well with some sweetness that was the fruit. I did cut down on the cayenne significantly. I also used lemon juice and white vinegar as we don't use red wine vinegar here. The Cajun seasoning I used was Recipe #33092 as I already had it made. Made for MAKE MY RECIPE~Tag Game Ed't 10. -
Excellent dressing. I used this vinaigrette for recipe#373571. Since I already had cajun spice mix (recipe#92066), I used that. Also I used MUCH less oil to keep the calories down. Otherwise no changes. I think I'm going to add some of the dressing to a vegetable soup I'm whipping up tonight.

<p>Born in Scotland, brought up travelling, settled in RSA and brought up my family here, an IT son and 2 horsey daughters! <br />Assorted animals, currently two dogs, a cat, a Bearded dragon, two corn snakes, multiple fish, and two Bengal finches. Love to entertain. my husband is a sports fanatic, enjoys helping in the kitchen and absolutely loves to eat the results!! I was a late starter, in my 30's when I started cooking, so I have brought my children up to Cook from an early age! And they all cook very well :D <br />Also love to read, garden, browse fleamarkets, esp. antique markets, love to sit in the sun with a cappucino and a good book!
